Dates & General Information

Vacation Bible School ("VBS") will be held at First Baptist Church, Oronogo, on July 13-17 (Monday-Friday) at 6pm each night for children who've finished Kindergarten through sixth grade. Advance Registration is encouraged to save time, but we'll have staff available to register kids any time they can arrive at FBCO.

Theme & Class Schedules

This year's theme is "Illumination Station." Illumination Station VBS is the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. During VBS kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals.

Our theme verse is John 8:12. Nightly sessions will include a kid-focused worship service, a light meal/snack, Bible & Missions classes, Music & Arts/Crafts, and Recreational Activiies. Most individual sessions will last about 25 minutes, and VBS will end about 9pm each night.

Reviews of the 2025 VBS Event were very positive, and we're working hard to improve on the success we enjoyed last summer. Join us for VBS and let's look at the Light of Life together!
